Will this mat work on top of an existing carpet?
The mat is designed for hard floors such as wood, laminate, and tile, where its anti-slip backing grips the surface. On a soft carpet the anti-slip backing has less to grip and the mat may move, and the surface pile could also interfere with smooth chair rolling. For carpeted offices a hard-surface chair mat is the better choice.
Which size should I choose for a standard home-office desk?
For a typical single-monitor desk roughly 55" / 140 cm wide, the 100 × 150 cm or 120 × 160 cm options cover the full chair travel zone comfortably. If your desk is wider or you push the chair back more than about 24" / 60 cm, step up to the 140 × 200 cm size.

Is the surface easy to clean?
