Modern Ceiling Fan with Light and Wood Grain Blades

This modern ceiling fan with light combines a pure copper DC motor and five sweeping ABS blades printed with a water-transfer wood grain. An acrylic LED diffuser sits beneath the blades. A handheld remote sets one of six fan speeds, and the integrated LED comes in three colour temperatures, so a single fitting covers both cooling and lighting in modern and transitional interiors.

Fit the blade gaskets: required to protect the motor

Gaskets must be installed when the blades are attached. Without them, the copper wiring in the motor will be damaged. Do not skip this step.

Check ceiling compatibility before ordering

• Not suitable for joist and gypsum board ceilings or wood panel ceilings, which cause noise and wobble.
• Not suitable for prefabricated ceilings. Cement concrete ceilings and solid wood beams are fine.
• Sloped ceilings are not supported by the standard version.
• Beam width must be at least 2.4" / 6 cm, and the ceiling must support more than 20 kg.

Blade and body colour: slight variation is normal

The fan body is metal with a wood grain finish applied by water transfer, and the blades are ABS with the same grain print. Because the base materials differ, a subtle colour difference between body and blades is expected. The two materials cannot be matched exactly.

Sizing and questions

Does this fan work with a standard wall switch?

No. The receiver does not work with standard home wall switches. A handheld remote comes with the fan.

Are blade gaskets needed during installation?

Yes. Gaskets go between the blades and the motor housing. Without them the copper wiring in the motor will be damaged and the fan can stop working properly.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

Not with the standard version, which is made for flat ceilings.

Can I install it on a gypsum board ceiling on joists?

No. Joist and gypsum board, wood panel and prefabricated ceilings cause noise and wobble. Cement concrete ceilings and solid wood beams are suitable, provided the beam is at least 2.4" / 6 cm wide and the ceiling supports more than 20 kg.

Why is there a slight colour difference between the blades and the body?

They are made from different base materials, metal for the body and ABS for the blades, so a subtle colour difference is normal.

What colour temperatures are available?

The LED offers 3000K warm, 4000K neutral and 6000K cool light.

How is the fan controlled?

The handheld remote controls six fan speeds, the light on and off, and the colour temperature.
