Modern Pendant Lamp with Rounded Glass Shade and Wooden Neck

This modern pendant lamp has a softly rounded glass shade under a turned wooden neck, hung on a fabric-covered cable. The shade is 11" / 28 cm wide and open at the base, so the light drops straight down onto a table or worktop rather than filling the whole room. Buy it as a single pendant on a round ceiling rose, or as a two or three light version strung from a slim wooden bar. It is suited to rooms of roughly 5 to 10 square metres.

Key Features

• Light aimed downwards: the broad shade is closed on top and open underneath, giving a defined pool of light over a table or island with very little glare at eye level.
• Glass, metal and wood: a glass shade, a metal body and a natural wood cone where the cable meets the shade, materials that sit easily with pale kitchens and timber furniture.
• Takes a standard E27 bulb: wired for an E27 screw fitting. The bulb is not supplied, so you choose the brightness and warmth. This is not a dimming fitting.
• Shortenable cable: the suspension cable can be shortened at installation, which helps over a dining table where the shade needs to stay clear of sightlines.
• One, two or three shades: the single pendant hangs from a round wooden ceiling rose. The two and three light versions share one wooden bar, 21.7" / 55 cm and 34.6" / 88 cm wide, for a run down the length of a table.
• Rated IP20 for indoor use: an indoor fitting for dry rooms, hardwired to the ceiling.
